Sunday April 16: The Star Awards Walk of Fame is the one of the highlights of the award show. Local and international celebrities strut their stuff into the main event, posing and showcasing their glamorous dresses and snazzy suits.
This year we had the privilege to dress 4 of Singapore's finest male celebrities: Lee Teng, Rayson Tan, Dennis Chew and Guo Liang. Here's a lookbook of the evening suits we custom designed for them:
Lee Teng
Breaking away from a dark color palette of formal wear, we used ivory colored silk shantung embroidered with petite blossoms. The double breasted suit jacket forms a masculine look on an otherwise delicate material. The white bowtie, silver buttons and star pins accentuates the elegance of the ivory palette.
Rayson Tan
Designed by Q Team's designer Cheryl, this contemporary 2 on 1 double breasted lapel-less suit is cut from jet black shantung silk. In the light, the subtle rose brocade shines through. The high-neck shirt collar strengthens the formality and sleek silhouette of the suit.
Dennis Chew
This unconventional actor deserves an equally unconventional tuxedo. The jacket is a mix mash of different textures: black devoré velvet with a funky textured satin lapel. Suave and sophisticated from far, fun and unexpected up close.
Guo Liang
Monochromatic black and white is definitely not boring for Guo Liang's case. His jacket is made contemporary and graphic with the pattern overlay of floral and stripes. The crisp white shirt and ebony trousers compliments the boldness of the jacket.
