Singapore’s Star Awards returned this year with all the glamour you’d expect, held at The Theatre at Mediacorp. The theme, “Walking Through Time Together,” was a nod to the show’s 30-year journey. An evening that celebrated not just talent, but the stories we’ve grown up with.
Behind the scenes, we had the honor of dressing six familiar faces in bespoke looks designed just for them. At Q MENSWEAR, red carpet style isn’t about stealing the spotlight with loud suits or overdone trends. It’s about quiet confidence. The kind that comes from knowing who you are and dressing in a way that reflects that. From fabric to fit, every detail is intentional.
Mark Lee
For one of Singapore’s most iconic entertainers, we designed a two-piece tuxedo in deep navy velvet. Classic in its silhouette but rich in texture, the shade offered a subtle break from traditional black. Refined yet full of personality. Much like Mark himself: timeless, confident, and never afraid of a little flair.

Dennis Zhou Chongqing
For Dennis, we crafted a jacquard two-piece suit that balanced texture with tailored precision. A sharp peak lapel added definition, while the classic bow tie brought a polished finish. The look felt effortless, composed, and distinctly his elegant without being overdone, and confident without saying too much.

Jona Chung
As a fresh face on the scene, Jona went for a bespoke beige double-breasted suit. Up front, it was classic and understated. At the back, a playful detail revealed itself. An unexpected twist that made it all his own. Modern, youthful, and a reminder that great tailoring doesn’t always have to stay in the lines.

Richie Koh
Richie stepped out in a bespoke grey double-breasted suit, cut with a strong peak lapel and elevated by a striking sash detail. The silhouette was sharp, the proportions just right. A statement piece for a rising star who knows how to wear presence with polish.

Herman Keh
Herman’s style leans youthful with a fashion-forward edge and we wanted his red carpet look to reflect just that. Wearing a bespoke ivory tuxedo jacket in a subtly textured fabric, cut slim through the body with a low-button stance to flatter his silhouette. Crisp, confident, and just the right amount of bold without trying too hard.

Huang Biren
Huang Biren was the only leading lady we had the pleasure of dressing that evening and her look was all about balance. We tailored a pinstripe pantsuit that moved with ease yet held its shape, combining structure with softness. The gently draped shoulders gave the jacket a quiet femininity, while the perfectly tailored trousers added length and flow. Simply elegant, effortless, and every bit as poised as the woman wearing it.
